Return & Exchange Policy
At Rooted in Bharat, every piece is created with care and attention to detail. We want your order to arrive as intended. This policy explains how we handle eligible claims for products that arrive damaged, defective, misprinted, or different from what you ordered.
Please read the following conditions before submitting a return, exchange, or replacement request.
Our return policy
We accept eligible claims for damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrectly supplied products, subject to review and approval. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery to report an issue.
Returns and exchanges are not accepted for change of mind, personal preference, or incorrect size selection. Please review the product details and size chart carefully before placing your order.
Eligible reasons for a claim
You may contact us if:
- Your product arrives damaged or defective.
- The print is visibly damaged or incorrectly applied.
- You receive a product different from the one you ordered.
- Your order has another verifiable product issue that requires review.
How to submit a request
Contact us within 7 days of delivery and include the following information so we can review your request:
- Your order number.
- A brief description of the issue.
- Clear photographs showing the product and the reported issue.
- Photographs of the packaging and shipping label, where relevant.
- An unboxing video, if available, to help establish the condition of the parcel on arrival.
Please keep the product and its original packaging until our team has reviewed your request. We may ask for additional information if needed.
Review and approval
Each request is reviewed individually. Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee a return, exchange, replacement, or refund. We will communicate the available resolution after reviewing the information provided.
Please do not send a product back without receiving instructions from our team. If a return shipment is required, we will explain the next steps.
Replacement or exchange
If a claim is approved, we may arrange a replacement or another appropriate resolution, depending on the nature of the issue and product availability.
Exchanges for a different size, colour, or design are not available for preference-based requests. Please check the product specifications before ordering.
Refunds
A refund may be offered for an eligible claim when approved by our team. Where applicable, refunds will be processed through the original payment method. The time taken for the funds to appear may depend on your bank or payment provider.
For cash-on-delivery orders, our team will provide instructions for processing an approved refund.
Incorrect size and measurement variations
Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate size using the size chart provided on the product page. We cannot accept returns or exchanges solely because a selected size does not fit as expected.
Minor garment measurement variations may occur during manufacturing. Such variations do not automatically qualify as defects. Any reported issue will be assessed individually.
Damaged parcels
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please photograph the package and shipping label before discarding any packaging. Contact us promptly with your order details so we can assess the issue.
Undelivered and returned orders
If an order is returned to us because of an incorrect address, repeated delivery failure, refusal of delivery, or another delivery-related issue, please contact us to discuss the available options. Reshipment may depend on the circumstances and any applicable additional shipping charges.
Order cancellations
Orders may enter processing or production soon after placement. If you need to request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation cannot be guaranteed once processing or production has started.
